Job Description
**Job title:** Coverage Analyst – Corporate & Investment Banking (Internship) **Role Summary:** Internship providing support to the Front Office of Corporate & Investment Banking in Paris. The role focuses on credit analysis, financial assessment, transaction profitability, and business development support for large corporate clients (≥€500 m turnover) within the CAC 40/SBF 120 universe. **Expectations:** - Complete a 6–9 month internship starting January 2026. - Gain hands‑on experience in credit underwriting, structured financing, and commercial strategy within a dynamic, multinational CIB environment. - Develop a deep understanding of corporate finance, profitability metrics (e.g., RAROC), and cross‑sell opportunities across the bank’s product families. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare credit dossiers and perform detailed financial analysis for large corporate borrowers. - Draft management and risk‑management notes summarizing credit assessments and transaction characteristics. - Monitor transaction, client, and portfolio profitability; analyze pricing and funding structures. - Contribute to the design of financing solutions for bilateral or syndicated deals. - Assist senior bankers in business development: identify prospects, prepare client meeting material, and support proposal development. - Participate in cross‑functional projects within the Commercial and General Management teams. **Required Skills:** - Strong credit analysis and financial modeling capabilities. - Proficiency in financial statement analysis and valuation techniques. - Excellent written and verbal communication in French and English; superior drafting skills in both languages. - Knowledge of corporate finance, structured finance, and capital markets. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multinational setting. - Knowledge of Spanish is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Current enrollment or recent graduate in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. - Academic background should include courses in corporate finance, credit analysis, and financial reporting. - No specific certifications required, but familiarity with credit rating frameworks and risk metrics is advantageous.
