Job Description
**Job Title:** Business Systems Developer **Role Summary:** Responsible for leading the delivery and deployment of business systems projects within the IT department, supporting the implementation of the organization’s Digital, Data, and Technology Strategy. Works collaboratively with the development team to maintain, enhance, and integrate core IT systems across multiple business units. **Expectations:** - Lead and manage end‑to‑end business systems projects. - Deliver technical solutions that meet departmental and enterprise requirements. - Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders. - Operate effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, test, and deploy business system solutions. - Maintain and support existing applications and data management systems. - Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve business processes. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications. - Produce documentation, reports, and user guides for implemented solutions. - Ensure solutions adhere to security, data integrity, and compliance standards. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience developing solutions using multiple information management systems. - Strong SQL proficiency and experience with related database technologies. - Ability to design, code, test, and debug applications. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of explaining technical solutions to non‑IT audiences. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Self‑motivated, flexible, and able to work independently or as part of a team. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). - Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer, ITIL Foundation) are desirable but not mandatory.
