Job Title:
Pre‑Sales Infrastructure Engineer
Role Summary:
Technical consultant supporting sales and solution design for infrastructure, networking, security, and cloud solutions. Engages with prospects and clients to define requirements, architect comprehensive solutions, prepare proposals, and deliver technical demos and presentations.
Expectations:
Deliver high‑quality technical solutions, maintain alignment between design and implementation, build relationships with vendors, and continuously monitor emerging technologies to enhance the company's solution portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in technical meetings and workshops with prospects and clients.
- Gather and analyze business and technical requirements across infrastructure, networking, security, and cloud services.
- Design complete architectures: sizing, capacity planning, diagramming, and best‑practice recommendations.
- Create and present demonstrations, proofs‑of‑concept, technical workshops, and client presentations.
- Author technical sections of proposals (SOW, HLD/LLD, cost estimates, scope).
- Ensure coherence between proposed architecture and project implementation.
- Manage and grow relationships with vendor pre‑sales partners (Microsoft, VMware, Fortinet, Dell, Lenovo, Cisco, etc.).
- Conduct ongoing market research and contribute to the evolution of the solution catalogue.
Required Skills:
- Strong technical foundation in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, TCP/IP, switching, VPN, firewalling (Fortinet, Cisco), VMware, Hyper‑V, Microsoft 365, Azure.
- Knowledge of security best practices: segmentation, hardening, and compliance.
- Proficiency in architecture diagramming (HLD/LLD) and cost estimation.
- Excellent communication in French and English (written and spoken).
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for non‑technical audiences.
- Presentation skills targeting clients.
- Self‑driven, meticulous, team‑oriented, curious, and service‑oriented mindset.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Degree from an engineering school or Master’s in Computer Science, Systems, Networking, or Telecommunications.
- 0–2 years of pre‑sales or technical role experience (N2/N3 engineering, integration, or operations).
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Certified VMware Professional, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE) are desirable.
