**Job title** Head of Information and Cyber Security **Role Summary** Senior leader responsible for creating, executing, and continuously improving the organization’s information and cyber security strategy. Align security objectives with business goals, manage risk, oversee daily security operations, enforce policies and standards, lead incident response, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic counsel to executive leadership. **Expectations** - Deliver a security strategy that supports growth and business objectives. - Maintain operational readiness of security infrastructure and incident response capabilities. - Demonstrate strong technical understanding and hands‑on expertise when necessary. - Communicate complex security concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. - Lead, mentor, and inspire a high‑performing security team. - Adapt quickly to evolving threats and changing business priorities. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and update the organization‑wide information and cyber security strategy. - Align security initiatives with corporate strategy and risk appetite. - Design, test, implement, and continuously improve security infrastructure, platforms, and software. - Establish, maintain, and enforce information security policies, standards, procedures, and controls. - Lead cyber security incident response, coordinate recovery plans, and validate response effectiveness. - Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and conduct or oversee audits. - Monitor emerging threats and cyber trends; recommend proactive improvements. - Provide expert advice and training to business units and executives on security matters. - Build and develop a skilled security team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning. **Required Skills** - Strategic leadership in information and cyber security. - Deep technical proficiency in security architecture, network security, endpoint protection, identity & access management, IAM, and cloud security. - Expertise in security standards, frameworks, and compliance (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, ISO 27701, etc.). - Proven experience in incident response and crisis management. - Strong communication and presentation abilities for technical and non‑technical audiences. - Ability to manage and mentor multi‑disciplinary security teams. - Analytical mindset for risk assessment and threat intelligence. - Resilience, adaptability, and decision‑making in high‑pressure environments. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field. - Minimum 8 years of progressive cyber security leadership experience, preferably in a matrix or multi‑branch organization. - Recognized certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or equivalent. ---
