Job Description

**Job Title:** Functional Project Manager – Sage X3 Production (F/M) **Role Summary:** Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver functional Sage X3 Production solutions for client business operations. Gather user requirements, translate them into system specifications, configure Sage X3, and oversee end‑to‑end project delivery, including testing, deployment, and user training. **Expectations:** - Deliver functional solutions that meet business needs and are fully deployed within agreed timeframes and budgets. - Ensure high‑quality documentation and training materials that enable user adoption. - Maintain strong stakeholder communication and deliver regular project status updates. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collect, analyze, and formalize functional business requirements from users. - Draft functional specifications and design system configurations for Sage X3 Production (procurement and manufacturing modules). - Plan, coordinate, and monitor all project phases (scoping, design, testing, deployment). - Facilitate user training, provide ongoing functional support, and promote solution adoption. - Act as liaison between functional and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of custom developments and system enhancements. - Continuously monitor system performance, identify optimization opportunities, and support post‑deployment enhancements. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience as a functional project manager with Sage X3 (Procurement & Production) in multi‑project environments. - Strong analytical, documentation, and configuration skills for Sage X3. - Project management experience: planning, scheduling, risk and budget management. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. - Ability to understand business processes and translate them into effective system solutions. - Comfortable traveling to client sites and working on‑site for 1–2 days per week. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. - Professional certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) preferred. - Sage X3 functional certification (or equivalent experience) is mandatory.
