Job Description: **Job Title:** Senior Software Engineer **Role Summary:** Lead the design, development, and deployment of full‑stack web applications that embed large language models (LLMs). Build scalable TypeScript APIs, robust database schemas, and high‑quality frontend features to deliver AI‑assisted capabilities to end users. **Expectations:** - Deliver production‑ready code that meets quality, security, and performance standards. - Mentor peers and enforce engineering best practices. - Collaborate closely with product, AI research, and design teams to translate AI concepts into usable features. - Stay current with evolving AI and web technologies, applying them to solve complex problems. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement TypeScript‑based full‑stack solutions using frameworks such as Hono, Express, or equivalent. - Build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and services, integrating LLMs (e.g., Claude, GPT) and prompt‑engineering patterns. - Architect PostgreSQL schemas and use Drizzle ORM to optimize query performance and data workflows. - Convert product requirements into user‑faceted features that leverage LLM capabilities. - Apply industry best practices—code quality, testing, CI/CD, security, and AI safety—to all deliverables. - Conduct code reviews, maintain coding standards, and contribute to engineering process improvements. - Prototype rapid iterations, evaluate new AI techniques, and experiment with vector databases and semantic search. **Required Skills:** - Expert proficiency in TypeScript; significant experience with Hono or a comparable API framework. - Production‑level experience with PostgreSQL and Drizzle ORM. - Proven full‑stack development and deployment expertise. - Hands‑on LLM integration and prompt‑engineering experience (Claude, GPT, etc.). - RESTful API design, versioning, and documentation skills. - Git, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative workflow proficiency. - Strong problem‑solving, architectural design, and communication abilities. **Preferred Skills:** - Familiarity with React or other modern frontend frameworks. - Experience with vector databases and semantic search implementations. - Knowledge of streaming responses and real‑time data handling. - Understanding of AI safety and responsible AI practices. - Rapid prototyping and iterative development mindset. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
