Job Description
**Job Title** ServiceNow Developer **Role Summary** Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow solutions for IT Service Management, CMDB, and related processes. Leverage JavaScript, web services, UI Builder, and custom workflows to enhance functionality and integrate with third‑party systems. **Expectations** - 6–7 years of professional ServiceNow experience. - Valid ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, or CIS). - Strong analytical, communication, and math skills. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and customize ServicePortal, ServiceCatalog, Incident, Change, Problem, and Asset Management modules. - Implement Client Scripts, Catalog Client Scripts, UI Scripts, UI Policies, Workspaces, and custom widgets using UI Builder. - Configure and maintain CMDB, data sources, import sets, and transform maps. - Design, build, and optimize workflows and workbooks. - Integrate ServiceNow with third‑party applications via REST/SOAP APIs. - Administer Knowledge Base and Service Catalog. - Define, document, and enforce governance processes and procedures. - Produce technical documentation, user guides, and analytical reports. - Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and prioritize enhancements. **Required Skills** - ServiceNow platform (ITSM, CMDB, Incident/Change/Problem/Asset, Knowledge Base). - JavaScript programming and web services development. - UI Builder, Workspaces, and widget creation. - Client Script, Catalog Client Script, UI Script, UI Policy. - Dynamic data source configuration, import sets, transform maps. - Workflow and business rule design. - API integration (REST/SOAP). - Configuration of forms, views, email notifications, roles, and access controls. - Analytical problem solving and performance tuning. - Clear written and verbal communication. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field. - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and at least one of: Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS).
