Job Description

Job Title: Software Support Engineer Intern – Summer 2026 Role Summary: Assist development teams in troubleshooting and resolving software issues across the RF‑SMART product line through phone, email, and remote sessions, applying solid JavaScript knowledge. Expectations: • 12‑week internship (May 12 – Aug 1, 2025) • 40 hours per week, onsite in US West (or US East) • Enrolled undergraduate junior/senior in a related degree program • Authorized to work in the United States without future sponsorship Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate with developers to triage, diagnose, and resolve software defects. 2. Recreate and investigate issues via JavaScript and web‑technology contexts. 3. Conduct remote debugging sessions and capture error reproduction steps. 4. Document findings, update issue trackers, and communicate status updates. 5. Participate in structured learning activities (group projects, mentorship, leadership sessions). 6. Adhere to QA processes and maintain accurate technical documentation. Required Skills: - Proficiency in JavaScript and web‑technology fundamentals. - Strong analytical and debugging abilities. - Effective verbal and written communication for remote support. - Team collaboration and adaptability to changing priorities. Required Education & Certifications: - Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program (Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field). - Junior or Senior status by credit hours. - No specific certifications required.
