Job title: Solutions Architect Role Summary: Architect and guide the design and delivery of scalable, value‑driven technical solutions for an enterprise enablement team. Collaborate closely with engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to align solutions with corporate strategy while balancing innovation, stability, and cost. Expectations: - Technical leadership and architectural stewardship across multiple domains. - Strong influence on solution economics, total cost of ownership, and long‑term sustainability. - Ability to work independently, maintain focus, and drive initiatives forward with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities: - Define solution pathways consistent with technology architecture strategies. - Create guiding principles, roadmaps, decision tools, and design artifacts to inform solution delivery. - Partner with product teams and stakeholders on consultations, research, design, and implementation. - Mentor and mature engineering practices. - Research and recommend innovative or emerging technologies. - Analyze solution economics and future‑state technology ecosystems. Required Skills: - Systems thinking and application of design principles in modern architecture. - Experience designing and building cloud applications; knowledge of cloud platforms. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities. - Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills (written and verbal). - Detail‑oriented, disciplined, and self‑motivated. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent training). - Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, including 2+ years in a lead solution architecture role. Preferred (non‑mandatory): - Knowledge of retail and distribution processes. - Experience integrating legacy systems into modern architectures. - Familiarity with agile/lean frameworks, DevOps, and IT operational best practices. - Understanding of technology protocols, standards, and industry trends.
