Frontend Software Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, and maintain responsive, accessible, and high‑performance web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript for a cloud‑native SaaS platform that serves regulated life‑science organizations.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver production‑grade, feature‑rich UIs that integrate efficiently with backend APIs and handle large data volumes.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams in an agile, high‑velocity environment.
- Continuously adopt emerging frontend patterns (e.g., LLM‑based interfaces, prompt builders) and best practices.
- Ensure code quality through CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and performance profiling.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Build and iterate on reusable component libraries with Storybook, MUI, or Tailwind.
- Implement responsive layouts, accessibility (WCAG), and cross‑browser compatibility.
- Consume structured data from REST, GraphQL, or Protobuf APIs and manage state with patterns such as Redux or React Context.
- Optimize bundle sizes, lazy‑load components, and profile performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
- Work with containerized development environments (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Support debugging and troubleshooting across different environments and browsers.
**Required Skills:**
- 3+ years professional web development experience, preferably with enterprise SaaS.
- Strong expertise in React (Hooks, functional components), TypeScript, and ES6+ JavaScript.
- Proficiency with responsive design, accessibility standards, and cross‑browser testing.
- Experience with component libraries, design systems, and Storybook.
- Knowledge of CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Git flow), Docker, and at least one cloud provider.
- Ability to work in Agile teams, translate ambiguous requirements, and iterate quickly.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
