Job Description
**Job Title** Intern, Integrated Specialty Coverages (ISC) – Summer 2026 **Role Summary** Support ISC’s digital, data‑driven growth initiatives by collaborating across commercial insurance, user experience, and technology teams. Interns will apply classroom knowledge to real‑world projects, gaining exposure to P&C insurance operations, product distribution, and AI/ML‑enhanced customer engagement. **Expectations** - Complete 12‑week internship (2026 Summer) at ISC HQ (San Diego, Buffalo or Tyler). - Participate in cross‑functional projects, attend weekly stand‑ups, and deliver actionable insights. - Proactively learn ISC’s proprietary systems, insurance products, and industry best practices. - Demonstrate adaptability, strong communication, and a data‑driven mindset. **Key Responsibilities** - Assist product, sales, and technology teams with research, data analysis, and reporting. - Contribute to the design and testing of digital customer experiences (web, mobile, UI/UX). - Support AI/ML initiatives by gathering data, performing exploratory analyses, and drafting model documentation. - Produce clear, concise summaries and visualizations for stakeholder review. - Engage with brokers and agents to gather feedback on product catalogs and distribution tools. - Participate in process improvement activities to streamline onboarding and workflow efficiency. **Required Skills** - Strong analytical skills; proficiency with Excel or data‑analysis tools (Python, R, SQL). - Basic understanding of commercial property & casualty insurance concepts. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team. - Knowledge of UX principles and digital product life‑cycle is a plus. - Familiarity with AI/ML concepts (model training, evaluation, deployment) is desirable. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program (Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or related field). - Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (or equivalent). - U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship offered. ---
