Job Title: Intern – Data Science, Electric Distribution Role Summary: Assist the Electric Distribution team by developing, deploying, and maintaining data‑science solutions that improve grid reliability and asset management. Perform data discovery, modeling, and visualization using Python, SQL, and Power BI, translating analytical insights into actionable business results. Collaborate cross‑functionally with domain experts to design advanced analytics projects, prototype solutions, and support the creation of dashboards that monitor vulnerability, outage trends, and system performance. Expactations: - Complete internship from May to August 2026. - Deliver prototypes, models, and dashboards on schedule with high accuracy. - Maintain confidentiality of proprietary data and comply with all company policies. - Exhibit professionalism, effective communication, and proactive learning. Required Skills: - Self‑starter with strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities. - Effective oral and written communication skills. - Interpersonal and customer‑relationship proficiency. - Strong organizational skills to prioritize multiple concurrent tasks. - Programming experience in Python (machine learning/statistical modeling). - SQL expertise for database queries and ETL processes. - Power BI proficiency for data visualization and dashboard creation. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows OS.
