Job Title: Director of Sales and Marketing
Role Summary:
Lead and grow the sales and marketing functions for an aluminum and stainless products distributor, driving revenue, market share, and brand visibility through strategic planning and execution.
Expectations:
- Achieve defined revenue and profit targets within the aluminum distribution sector.
- Expand the customer base and deepen relationships with key accounts across maritime, defense, and manufacturing industries.
- Deliver measurable growth in brand awareness and lead generation through integrated marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to reach revenue and profitability goals.
- Manage and nurture key customer accounts; negotiate pricing, contracts, and long‑term supply agreements.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, market segments, and partnership prospects.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a sales team to maintain high performance and customer service standards.
- Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity; adjust tactics accordingly.
- Plan and implement marketing programs, including digital marketing, website content, trade shows, and advertising campaigns.
- Produce marketing collateral—product catalogs, case studies, and sales aids—to support sales efforts.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and pricing dynamics.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and overall business planning processes.
Required Skills:
- 5–7+ years’ experience in sales and marketing within metals, aluminum, or industrial distribution.
- Proven B2B sales, account management, and market development record.
- Deep knowledge of aluminum products, fabrication processes, and end‑use industries (preferred).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Strategic thinking with business acumen and analytical skills.
- Leadership and team‑building capabilities.
- Results‑oriented, self‑motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel for client visits, trade shows, and industry events.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Certified Sales Professional, B2B Marketing certification) are an advantage.
