Job Description: Job Title: Full Stack Developer (Java – React) Role Summary: Senior developer with 6+ years experience in Java/Spring backend and React/Node.js frontend, responsible for end‑to‑end feature delivery, code quality, CI/CD, and API automation within an Agile squad. Expectations: Deliver high‑quality, maintainable, high‑performance code; design and refactor systems; write tests and automate API testing; build and maintain CI/CD pipelines; collaborate across teams; stay current with best practices. Must reside in Belgium or Netherlands and act with an agile mindset. Key Responsibilities: - Translate business requirements into clean, efficient Java (Spring) backend services. - Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs with Swagger documentation. - Develop front‑end components in React (or Node.js) for web and mobile applications. - Write unit, integration, and automation tests following TDD practices. - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (or equivalent), Docker, and Groovy scripts. - Execute static code analysis with SonarQube, Fortify, or NexusIQ to enforce quality standards. - Deploy and monitor cloud‑based services; participate in incident response. - Conduct code reviews, share knowledge, and mentor junior team members. - Keep up to date with OO principles, DDD, SOLID, and design patterns. Required Skills: - 6+ years professional experience with Java and Spring Framework. - Proficiency in Maven, RESTful APIs, Swagger (YAML), Git, and Docker. - Strong grasp of object‑oriented design, DDD, SOLID, and design patterns. - Expertise in Test‑Driven Development and automated testing (unit/integration). - Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins or equivalent) and DevOps practices. - Familiarity with static analysis tools (SonarQube, Fortify, NexusIQ). - Knowledge of React (preferred) and Node.js (optional). - Agile mindset and collaborative squad experience. - Fluent in English; Dutch or French language skills advantageous. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - No mandatory certifications required; practical experience with JDK, Spring, and DevOps tools qualifies.
