**Job Title** Agronomy Intern (M/F) **Role Summary** Support agroecology research by collecting, analyzing, and modeling data from multiple sensors to assess soil and plant ecosystem functions across diverse crop types and pedoclimatic contexts. Translate findings into actionable recommendations for sustainable agricultural practices. **Expectations** - Undertake end‑to‑end data acquisition and analysis for two crop systems. - Develop models integrating sensor data with ancillary datasets. - Synthesize scientific results and communicate them to internal and external stakeholders. - Contribute to project planning, execution, and knowledge sharing within interdisciplinary teams. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Collect and preprocess sensor measurements. 2. Analyze data using statistical and machine‑learning methods; build predictive or explanatory models. 3. Perform literature reviews and integrate current agroecological knowledge. 4. Draft scientific reports, summaries, and presentations. 5. Present findings to scientists, technicians, and non‑technical partners. 6. Participate in project meetings, ensuring timely deliverables and alignment with research goals. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python/R, Excel). - Experience with sensor data processing and environmental datasets. - Strong statistical modeling and data‑visualization skills. - Excellent written and oral communication in English; French a plus. - Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams. - Project orientation, problem‑solving, and creativity. **Required Education & Certifications** - Final year of a general engineering or agronomy program (or equivalent). - Dual focus on agronomy & data science; coursework or projects in environmental/agricultural data analysis. - Knowledge of agroecology principles and sensor technology. - Prior internship or work experience in industry (preferred but not mandatory).
