Job Title: Software DevOps Engineer
Role Summary: Architect, implement, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines for large-scale, cloud‑native architectures. Drive secure, automated deployment practices across multiple agile teams, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance.
Expections: Deliver resilient infrastructure, automate operational workflows, and mentor teams on modern DevSecOps culture. Provide technical leadership in cloud migrations, containerization, and orchestration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and support CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.)
- Author automation scripts (YAML, JSON, Python, Bash, PowerShell) for integration, test, and production environments
- Create fault‑tolerant, cloud‑based infrastructure (Databases, VMs, VNets, load balancers) using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, SaltStack)
- Containerize applications, manage Kubernetes/K8s clusters, and integrate service meshes (Istio)
- Deploy monitoring dashboards, collect metrics, and recommend performance optimizations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define architecture patterns and adopt secure coding practices
- Stay current with web application technologies, programming languages, and industry best practices
Required Skills:
- Scripting: YAML, XML, JSON, Python, Bash, PowerShell
- CI/CD tools: GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bamboo, Travis, CircleCI
- IaC: Ansible, Terraform, SaltStack
- Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Istio
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s acceptable with 3+ years experience)
- Minimum 5 years DevOps experience (or 3 years with Master’s)
- U.S. citizenship; current Secret security clearance required.
