Job Description
**Job Title:** Assistant Account Executive **Role Summary** Supports clients in financial and professional services by executing media relations strategies, managing client communications, and delivering measurable results through media outreach and relationship-building. Collaborates with teams to develop client-focused narratives and ensure project success. **Expectations** 1-2 years of related experience. Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field. Strong interest in financial services, B2B communications, and/or technology sectors. Proficiency in Cision, Factiva, and Microsoft Suite required. Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks across multiple accounts and work collaboratively in a team environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Draft and track meeting agendas, timesheets, and media clips. - Analyze media trends and identify key journalists to influence client stakeholders. - Prepare media pitches, press materials, and briefing documents for client campaigns. - Maintain editorial calendars, speaking opportunities, and awards tracking. - Facilitate client communication through written and verbal updates, ensuring alignment on strategic goals. - Execute media outreach strategies independently to secure coverage and measure results. - Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and creative problem-solving. **Required Skills** - Proficient in media relations, research, and digital tools (Cision, Factiva). - Strong proofreading, editing, and content development capabilities. - Detail-oriented with ability to manage deadlines and prioritize competing tasks. - Effective written and verbal communication for client and media engagement. - Adaptable, entrepreneurial mindset with initiative to solve problems independently. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, or related field. - No certifications required.
