Job Title: VP, Business Development Role Summary: Lead commercial strategy for national growth, securing and managing strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical sponsors, CROs, and research partners to expand clinical trial site network and drive revenue. Expactations: • Achieve annual revenue targets and expand partnership portfolio. • Increase phase 2/3 chronic ambulatory trial volume. • Deliver high sponsor satisfaction (NPS) and renewal/referral rates. • Maintain forecast accuracy and efficient deal cycle. • Build and mentor a high‑performance sales team. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute multi‑phase business development strategy targeting global biopharma and mid‑size sponsors. • Own end‑to‑end deal process: opportunity identification, proposal shaping, MSA/SOW negotiation, and closure. • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Clinical Operations, Experience, Finance to ensure delivery excellence. • Conduct competitive and R&D pipeline intelligence to target large phase 3 trials. • Contribute to corporate strategy, product development, and innovation initiatives. • Lead industry conference presence and brand recognition efforts. • Build executive‑level sponsor relationships fostering long‑term strategic partnerships. • Serve as sponsor advocate, ensuring expectations are communicated and met. • Own CRM management, pipeline analytics, and global sales forecasting. • Present insights and progress to CEO and executive leadership. Required Skills: • Strategic and analytical mindset with long‑term growth focus. • Proven negotiation, storytelling, and executive communication skills. • Deep understanding of clinical research operations, site dynamics, and sponsor expectations. • High‑performance team building and leadership experience. • Ability to navigate complex multi‑site deals and achieve profitability. • Relationship stewardship and stakeholder management. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Science (or related field) required. • MBA or advanced degree preferred. • 10+ years of commercial leadership in clinical research or research site networks.
