**Job title:** Chief Executive Officer **Role Summary:** Lead a large, family‑owned industrial services organization through a strategic turnaround, restoring growth, profitability, and operational excellence. Serve as the single highest decision‑maker, aligning boards, executives, employees, and clients toward a clear, value‑creating vision in a service‑based B2B environment. **Expectations:** - Deliver a sustainable growth trajectory while safeguarding capital structure. - Strengthen operational fundamentals and embed continuous improvement culture. - Build a high‑performance leadership team and a balanced social dialogue. **Key Responsibilities:** - Partner with the Board to set priorities, provide strategic judgment, and ensure rigorous, value‑oriented governance. - Chair the Executive Committee on a defined rhythm, promoting cohesion, accountability, and decisive action. - Represent the company to key stakeholders, articulating strategy and performance. - Own P&L: drive revenue, EBITDA, margin, cash flow, and productivity; develop secure, long‑term budgets; manage investment risks. - Accelerate operational excellence: streamline processes, enhance execution quality, tighten reporting, and uplift client experience. - Expand and retain strategic client portfolio: lead major tenders, negotiation of critical contracts, and cross‑sell/play‑penetration initiatives. - Direct talent strategy: attract, develop, and retain critical talent; foster a culture of execution and responsibility. - Maintain transparent, fair industrial relations in a unionized environment. **Required Skills:** - Proven CEO or equivalent top‑level executive experience (5–10 years) in an end‑to‑end operational business unit. - Strong B2B services background with sizable P&L responsibility. - Extensive leadership of large, geographically dispersed teams. - Fluency in French and Dutch (both mandatory); English proficiency (B2+) highly preferred. - Demonstrated ability in continuous improvement (Lean, 5S). - Experience managing industrial labor relations (white & blue collar) under union conditions. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, or related field. - Advanced executive training or MBA preferred. - Certifications in Lean/continuous improvement or equivalent valued.
