Job Description
Job Title: Junior JavaScript Developer Role Summary: Entry‑level developer responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining both front‑end and back‑end components using JavaScript, including Redux state management, to deliver functional web applications. Expectations: Deliver clean, testable code within sprint timelines; collaborate on team’s remote workflow; contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines and code reviews. Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain reusable UI components and UI logic with JavaScript and Redux. - Work with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles to produce accessible interfaces. - Connect front‑end to back‑end services via RESTful APIs; interpret API contracts and integrate data flows. - Diagnose and resolve bugs across full stack layers; write unit and integration tests to validate functionality. - Participate in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospective meetings. - Store and version code in Git repositories; document changes and technical decisions. Required Skills: - Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+). - Working knowledge of Redux, including reducers, actions, and middleware. - Familiarity with front‑end build tools (Webpack, Babel, npm). - Basic understanding of back‑end concepts (Node.js/Express, REST). - Experience with Git version control. - Ability to write unit tests (Jest, Mocha, etc.) and perform debugging. - Strong problem‑solving and communication skills, suitable for remote collaboration.
