**Job Title:** ServiceNow Developer
**Role Summary:**
Deliver end‑to‑end design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions on a 6+ month contract. Focus on core modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and Integrated Risk Management (IRM), and integrate ServiceNow with external systems to meet business requirements.
**Expectations:**
- Produce high‑quality, maintainable custom applications and configurations.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation for all work.
- Resolve defects and integration issues promptly.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Adhere to ServiceNow best practices and coding standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, test, and implement ServiceNow applications and modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, IRM).
- Customize workflows, business rules, UI policies, scripts, and APIs within ServiceNow.
- Build and manage integrations using scripted REST APIs, SOAP, or other integration tools.
- Create and maintain configuration guides, test cases, and release notes.
- Perform unit and regression testing, debug issues, and provide post‑deployment support.
- Gather requirements with business analysts, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.
- Participate in configuration, testing, and implementation phases for new releases.
**Required Skills:**
- 3–5 years of ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting.
- Experience with ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and IRM modules.
- Knowledge of integration patterns (REST, SOAP, Web Services).
- Familiarity with ServiceNow version control, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and test plans.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist required.
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect preferred.
