**Job title** Professional Football Field Operation Coordinator **Role Summary** Coordinate the end‑to‑end deployment and technical operations of Sportable’s Match Tracker technology across all WSL match weekends. Lead on‑site preparation, stakeholder liaison, and post‑match data validation to deliver real‑time insights for elite football events. **Expectations** - Work regularly on weekends and evenings, traveling across UK stadiums. - Maintain the highest standards of safety, data protection, and professional conduct. - Deliver precise, quality field operations supporting broadcast and stadium teams. **Key Responsibilities** - Attain super‑user proficiency with Match Tracker software. - Plan and execute match week operations, ensuring flawless technology deployment. - Coordinate with broadcast crews, stadium ops, and team staff to align schedules and requirements. - Supervise and schedule casual match‑day support personnel. - Manage hardware inventory, regional logistics, and warranty compliance. - Collaborate with internal product, service, and sport‑science teams on tech enhancements. - Enforce company health, safety, and data protection policies. - Validate and report Smart Ball data post‑match, including analytics and insights. **Required Skills** - Deep knowledge of football rules, tactics, and match flow. - Proven problem‑solving in high‑pressure, fast‑paced settings. - Advanced MS Office and Excel for data analysis. - Clear driving licence with access to a vehicle. - Strong communication (written & verbal) and stakeholder management. - Detail‑oriented, highly organised, and adaptable to changing demands. **Required Education & Certifications** - BSc (or equivalent) in Sports Science, Sports Technology, or related field. - Prior experience in elite sports or similar technological environments is desirable. **Certification / Additional Qualifications (desired but not mandatory)** - Experience with sports telemetry (GPS), video analysis, or tactical tech. - Familiarity with data visualisation platforms such as Tableau or PowerBI. - Basic IT/networking knowledge. ---
