Job Description
**Job Title** Retail Operations Manager – Europe **Role Summary** Lead and oversee operational excellence of the luxury retail network across Europe, ensuring effective budget control, compliance with health & safety regulations, and seamless execution of openings, refurbishments, and pop‑up projects. Act as the primary people leader for the operations team based in Paris and London, fostering consistency and high performance across all markets. **Expectations** - Own end‑to‑end operational activities for the European retail network. - Deliver measurable cost reductions while maintaining top service standards. - Maintain strong stakeholder relationships internally and externally. - Enable rapid deployment and success of new store openings and refurbishment projects. **Key Responsibilities** - Manage day‑to‑day store operations across all European locations. - Monitor and control budgets, identifying and implementing cost‑saving initiatives. - Oversee store maintenance, health & safety compliance, and regulatory adherence. - Build and sustain partnerships with internal teams and external suppliers. - Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of the operations team. - Project‑manage major retail initiatives (new openings, refurbishments, pop‑ups). - Conduct regular audits and support inventory and stock‑management KPIs. **Required Skills** - Proven experience (≥5 years) in luxury retail operations. - Strong leadership ability with cross‑location management. - Solutions‑oriented, proactive, and capable of handling competing priorities. - In‑depth knowledge of European health & safety regulations. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills. - Fluent in English; French strongly preferred; additional languages a plus. - Willingness to travel throughout Europe as needed. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Operations, Supply Chain, or related field. - Relevant project‑management or operations certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) preferred.
