Job Description
Job Title: Investment Banking Analyst – Internship (Business & Tech‑Enabled Services) Role Summary: Six‑month, full‑time analyst internship supporting mid‑market business–technology services deals. Duties span M&A, IPOs, public takeovers, and private placements across Europe and beyond, with emphasis on pitch deck development, financial modelling, and transaction execution. Expectations: Deliver high‑quality analytical deliverables under tight deadlines, coordinate cross‑functional tasks, and maintain professional communication with clients, investors, and team members in a dynamic, high‑pressure environment. Key Responsibilities: - Draft client presentations (pitches, teasers, info memorandums, management decks, valuation books). - Build and update financial models (LBO, DCF, comparable, precedent transaction). - Perform company and industry research, sector screens, and investor list creation. - Assist in deal execution: outreach to investors, due diligence coordination, Q&A support, and process tracking. - Contribute to corporate presentations and ad‑hoc project tasks as required. Required Skills: - Strong analytical and quantitative competence. - Proficiency in Excel for complex financial modelling. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English. - Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines. - Detail‑oriented, proactive, and self‑motivated with a collaborative attitude. - Interest in investment banking and familiarity with business/technology services sectors. Required Education & Certifications: - Current undergraduate or recently graduated student in finance, economics, business, engineering, or related quantitative field. - Minimum GPA requirement (e.g., 3.5/4.0 – adjust based on local grading system). - No mandatory certifications required; CFA Level I/II or relevant coursework is a plus.
