**Job Title** Senior ServiceNow Software Engineer **Role Summary** Contract software engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) solutions. Focuses on API management, integration with third‑party identity services, and event‑driven architecture using Kafka. **Expectations** - 12+ month contract role. - Remote work limited to the U.S. Midwest (MI, OH, IN, IL, WI, KY). **Key Responsibilities** - Lead development of ServiceNow IRM modules and extensions. - Architect and implement REST/SOAP APIs for data exchange. - Integrate ServiceNow with One Identity APIs for authentication and authorization. - Design and deploy Kafka event streams for real‑time risk data processing. - Troubleshoot, optimize, and refactor existing ServiceNow applications. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and deliverables. **Required Skills** - 8+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow development. - Deep experience with ServiceNow IRM and Integrated Risk Management module. - Strong API design, management, and integration expertise. - Familiarity with One Identity APIs. - Experience with Kafka event streaming (highly preferred). - Proficiency in JavaScript, ServiceNow Flow Designer, and server‑side scripting. - Ability to work independently in a remote, contract environment. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). - ServiceNow Platform Administrator and Application Developer certifications (preferred).
