Job Description
**Job Title:** IT Security Analyst **Role Summary:** Provide day‑to‑day security risk mitigation within the IT Infrastructure team, focusing on incident response, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and the development of robust security policies and controls. **Expactations:** - 1–2 years of hands‑on information security monitoring/response. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively. - Strong communication and stakeholder management. - Up‑to‑date knowledge of cyber security trends, especially in financial services. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain cyber security incident response plans. - Conduct and support regular penetration tests, endpoint protection patching, and vulnerability remediation. - Review and enhance existing security controls; recommend new processes. - Create, update, and enforce IT security policies and procedures. - Promote information‑security awareness across the organization. - Coordinate with external SOC teams for issue investigation. - Monitor and analyze alerts from EDR, SIEM, NDR tools. - Support network security tools (Cisco firewalls, switches, Umbrella, Wireshark). **Required Skills:** - Experience with EDR, SIEM, NDR, vulnerability management tools. - Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework and Cyber Essentials. - Understanding of network architecture and security appliances. - Ability to run security awareness campaigns. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP Associate) are desirable but not mandatory.
