Job Description: **Job Title:** C++ Developer **Role Summary:** Design and implement commercial‑grade audio plug‑ins from existing DSP code and contribute to the next generation of audio products. **Expectations:** - Deliver robust, low‑latency DSP solutions that meet industry standards. - Collaborate with audio engineers and software teams to integrate plug‑ins into the product portfolio. - Produce clean, maintainable code with comprehensive documentation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Refactor legacy DSP modules into reusable plug‑in architecture (VST3, AU, AAX). - Develop and optimize new DSP algorithms for real‑time performance. - Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing of plug‑ins. - Debug audio processing issues and profile for latency and CPU usage. - Participate in design and code reviews, and improve development workflows. - Maintain documentation for architecture, APIs, and user guides for internal and external use. **Required Skills:** - Proficient in C++ (C++11/14/17) with modern coding practices. - Strong foundation in digital signal processing concepts. - Experience building real‑time audio plug‑ins (VST, AU, AAX) or similar modules. - Familiarity with audio frameworks/libraries (JUCE, Steinberg SDK, CoreAudio, WASAPI, ALSA). - Knowledge of real‑time OS constraints, thread safety, and memory management. - Version control with Git, build systems (CMake, Makefile), CI pipelines. - Unit testing (Google Test, Catch2) and debugging tools (Valgrind, LLDB, Visual Studio). - Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Optional certifications in DSP, audio programming, or advanced C++ modules.
