Job Description
**Job Title** Retail Development Manager **Role Summary** Lead the commercial development of the brand within France’s Retail and Hospitality sectors. Drive brand awareness, target end‑users, architects, and designers, secure new projects from prescription to installation, and achieve annual revenue and margin targets while maintaining strong client relationships. **Expectations** - Reach or exceed set annual sales and margin objectives. - Deliver accurate sales forecasts and activity reports. - Strengthen brand positioning on the ground through proactive market engagement. - Maintain an up‑to‑date pipeline of projects and respond swiftly to market trends. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Promote the brand and products to architects, interior designers, agency firms, and end‑user clients. 2. Identify and pursue new projects; manage full project life‑cycle from prescription to installation. 3. Coordinate with floor installers and specialized contractors to ensure high service quality and client satisfaction. 4. Develop and execute commercial plans, including forecast, activity tracking, promotional actions, and brand defense. 5. Use Salesforce to capture and update customer data, sales activities, and performance metrics. 6. Report activity progress, market insights, and revenue forecasts to senior management. 7. Represent the brand at trade fairs, events, and commercial meetings. **Required Skills** - Proven experience in a commercial role within the design, décor, or related industry. - Strong network knowledge of architects, decorators, agency designers, and end‑user clients. - Commercial acumen, initiative, and results‑oriented mindset. - Autonomous, rigorous, and highly communicative with excellent relationship skills. - Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM systems. - Professional level English; French language proficiency is mandatory. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. - Professional sales or design certifications are an advantage.
