Talent Acquisition Specialist
**Role Summary**
Drive full-cycle recruiting for all divisions, partnering with leadership to understand hiring needs, align with policies and legislation, and ensure a high-quality talent pipeline. Manage job postings, proactive sourcing, candidate assessment, and onboarding while maintaining compliance and fostering a positive candidate experience.
**Expectations**
- Deliver high‑volume, results‑oriented recruitment outcomes in a fast‑paced environment.
- Work independently, prioritizing multiple assignments with minimal supervision.
- Maintain accurate, timely candidate records and produce well‑documented analytics.
- Build regional community connections and sustain hiring partnerships.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Source, screen, interview, and recommend candidates for full‑cycle positions.
2. Manage and update Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and candidate database.
3. Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies for open roles.
4. Coordinate with Operations, Training, and other stakeholders on recruitment and onboarding.
5. Audit hiring documentation and ensure compliance with policies and legislation.
6. Contribute to new‑hire experience and monitoring onboarding progress.
7. Produce reporting and analytics for recruitment metrics.
8. Identify and implement additional administrative tasks as needed.
9. Conduct outreach to build community relations and sourcing networks.
10. Travel throughout Southwestern & Central Ontario as required.
**Required Skills**
- Full‑cycle recruitment experience, including posting, sourcing, interviewing, offer, and onboarding.
- Proficiency with ATS, HR databases, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Time‑management, organization, and ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Creative candidate‑sourcing and job‑advertising.
- Goal‑oriented, proactive, and independent work style.
- Familiarity with HR legislation, talent acquisition best practices, and data‑driven reporting.
- Clean driver’s abstract, full G licence, and clear criminal record.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Post‑secondary education in Human Resources, Recruitment, or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of or experience with ADP software is an asset.
- Valid driver’s licence (Full G).
