**Job title:** Senior IT Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Deliver comprehensive technical support and consulting for a diverse client portfolio, blending hands‑on IT engineering with client‑facing service. Lead setup, configuration, and maintenance of multi‑platform environments, while driving project scoping, design, and implementation. Mentor junior staff and ensure compliance with industry standards.
**Expectations:**
- Maintain a professional, white‑glove client experience.
- Manage multiple concurrent client engagements, delivering on schedule and within scope.
- Demonstrate advanced troubleshooting and strategic planning skills across complex IT environments.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide Tier 1–3 support for hardware, software, networking, and user issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain Google Workspace, macOS, Windows, Azure, and Office 365 environments.
- Lead IT project scoping, design, and delivery, ensuring alignment with client needs.
- Manage Identity Providers and Single Sign‑On solutions.
- Administer endpoint management (Kandji, Intune, etc.) for device compliance.
- Implement data backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Ensure adherence to compliance frameworks (CIS, NIST 800‑171, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, SOC2, etc.).
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and consultants.
- Communicate status, timelines, and risks to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
**Required Skills:**
- 10+ years of IT engineering and consulting experience.
- Cross‑platform expertise: Microsoft, Google Workspace/Cloud, AWS, IdPs, MDMs, networking, cloud servers, cybersecurity, BCDR.
- Strong troubleshooting, project management, and client‑relationship skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and manage multiple clients simultaneously.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
- Advanced certifications highly desirable:
- Google Cloud Professional
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect
- Okta Certified Administrator
- CompTIA Network+ / CCNP
- NIST 800‑171 / CMMC compliance certification
Travel to client sites in London/EU and flexible work schedule required.
