Job Title: Sales & Procurement Forecasting Analyst (F/M)
Role Summary:
Coordinate and lead sales forecasting and procurement planning within the supply chain, ensuring alignment across commercial, purchasing, logistics, and suppliers to achieve optimal inventory levels and customer satisfaction.
Expectations:
- Translate data-driven insights into actionable forecasts and procurement plans.
- Maintain forecast accuracy and manage performance indicators.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally, communicating clearly and proactively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop reliable sales forecasts (weekly, monthly) for product, category, and customer levels based on historical data, market trends, promotions, and product launches.
- Validate forecasts with sales and procurement teams through regular meetings.
- Monitor forecast KPIs (accuracy, bias, variance) and continuously improve forecasting methods.
- Translate forecasts into effective supply plans: calculate net requirements (MRP), propose purchase orders, and account for supplier constraints (lead times, MOQ, logistics).
- Track deliveries, manage disruptions, adjust availability dates, and prioritize orders with flow pilots.
- Analyze inventory levels, adjust coverage parameters, and forecast obsolescence risks.
- Support S&OP processes to align supply with commercial strategy.
- Recommend and implement tools, methods, and process enhancements to increase forecast reliability.
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI).
- Proficiency in ERP/SAP systems for forecasting and procurement.
- Ability to synthesize large datasets, identify trends, and challenge assumptions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Detail‑oriented, agile, and customer‑focused mindset.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in sales forecasting, planning, or procurement.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., APS, INFOR, Six Sigma) are a plus.
