Job Title: Project Manager – Security & Cloud Transformation
Role Summary: Lead and deliver cloud transformation initiatives focused on security, ensuring projects adhere to security policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Manage end‑to‑end program execution across on‑prem to cloud environments, coordinating cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
Expectations:
- Execute security‑centric cloud projects in Azure/AWS.
- Maintain robust compliance with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, FedRAMP).
- Deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget while managing technical and operational risks.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business, IT, operations, and compliance units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, initiate, and close projects, including RFP, vendor selection, PoC, requirement gathering, design, development/configuration, testing, integration, data migration, UAT, go‑live, and post‑implementation review.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, resource allocations, dependency maps, risk registers, and issue logs.
- Oversee security architecture, identity and access management, network security, data protection, and threat‑modeling activities.
- Coordinate shared resources across multiple projects, ensuring optimal utilization and priority alignment.
- Monitor progress, report status to stakeholders, and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Drive continuous improvement of project management methodologies and tooling.
- Foster collaboration across Big Data, Infrastructure, Security, Applications, Client Services, and Business Solutions teams.
Required Skills:
- ≥5 years project management in IT security & compliance.
- ≥5 years general IT professional experience.
- Deep knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud environments.
- Expertise in cybersecurity concepts: network security, encryption, IAM, data protection, cloud architecture, risk management, threat modeling, defense‑in‑depth.
- Proficiency in SDLC practices within cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with security risk frameworks and industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, FedRAMP).
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
- Preferred certifications: PMP/PMI‑PMP, CISSP, CCSP, CCSK.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- PMP or other PMI certification preferred.
- CISSP, CCSP, CCSK or equivalent security certification preferred.
