Job Description

**Job Title** Marine Business Development Manager **Role Summary** Drive growth of chartering pipeline within OEG’s Marine Division by identifying new opportunities, expanding repeat business, and collaborating cross‑functionally to meet revenue and contractual milestones. **Expectations** - Achieve set revenue and profitability targets through pipeline development. - Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date CRM (Salesforce) data. - Deliver timely tenders, proposals, and contracts in partnership with Chartering Manager. - Ensure operational and contractual compliance on all new and existing projects. - Foster strong client relationships and enhance brand visibility. **Key Responsibilities** - Prospect and secure new chartering opportunities; maximize revenue and profit. - Implement and manage BD processes; maintain Salesforce records. - Collaborate with Chartering Manager to craft tenders, proposals, and contracts. - Prepare and deliver client presentations and senior management updates. - Coordinate with Operations to guarantee contractual adherence and monitor changes. - Escalate client or milestone concerns to Chartering Manager. - Track and report sales invoicing for the global vessel fleet (owned and chartered). - Conduct regular client site visits; build and sustain relationships. - Work with Marketing to increase media presence and organize corporate events. - Generate pipeline and performance reports for senior management review. **Required Skills** - Minimum 3 years’ experience in marine business development or chartering. - Strong understanding of the offshore renewable energy sector. - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and CRM systems. - Excellent written and oral communication. - Ability to travel extensively (UK, Europe, Asia, America). - Knowledge of marine operations and chartering processes. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Business, Maritime Studies or equivalent. - Relevant certifications in marine operations or chartering (e.g., Certified Marine Chartering Specialist) are advantageous.
