Job Description

**Job Title:** Summer Intern, Revenue Accounting **Role Summary** Support financial reporting and month-end close processes in revenue accounting with a focus on data analysis, compliance, and process improvement. Gain hands-on experience with GAAP principles, ERP systems, and cross-functional team collaboration. **Expectations** Demonstrate independence and teamwork to contribute to financial accuracy, process optimization, and support organizational goals through data-driven insights and structured workflows. **Key Responsibilities** - Assist with revenue recognition, gross-to-net calculations, and related data validation. - Prepare draft journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close documentation. - Analyze discounts, rebates, returns, and other revenue adjustments. - Support audit readiness by organizing documentation and workpapers. - Document workflows and test automation/process-improvement initiatives. - Conduct research, collect data, and draft summaries for team-reviewed projects. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel: intermediate skills, pivot tables, formulas). - Understanding of GAAP revenue analysis. - Ability to interpret financial data and derive actionable recommendations. - Strong written/verbal communication for collaboration and reporting. - Organizational and time-management skills for concurrent project execution. - Familiarity with Power BI, CRM, or ERP systems preferred. **Required Education & Certifications** - Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance. - Minimum 12 credit hours completed in accounting/finance-related coursework. - Legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
