Job Description
Job Title: Luxury Insight Analyst (Internship) – China Role Summary: Support China Market & Consumer Insight research for luxury brands, generating structured insights on consumer behavior, market dynamics, and competition, and collaborating on workshops with senior clients. Expectations: Deliver timely, data‑driven insights; maintain research quality; contribute to client deliverables; act as a liaison between Chinese/local and global teams. Key Responsibilities: - Design and execute customized market research studies for luxury, premium, and niche brands. - Analyze data from Chinese social media and e‑commerce platforms (WeChat, Weibo, RED, Douyin, Tmall, etc.). - Produce clear, structured insight reports covering consumer behavior, trends, and competitor benchmarks. - Coordinate cross‑culturally to support EU and CN clients, ensuring insights are relevant for C‑level and senior‑executive audiences. - Provide operational support during workshops and client engagements. Required Skills: - Strong analytical and research skills; data‑driven mindset. - Native proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) and fluent English; French or additional languages a plus. - Familiarity with Chinese digital platforms (WeChat, Weibo, RED, Douyin, Tmall, etc.). - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). - Attention to detail, proactive communication, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. - Passion for the luxury industry and eagerness to learn. Required Education & Certifications: - Current undergraduate or graduate student (or recent graduate) in Business, Marketing, Consumer Science, Economics, or a related field. - Relevant work or internship experience in market research, consumer insights, or luxury brand analysis is highly valued.
