**Job Title** Business Development Representative (Remote) **Role Summary** Generate, qualify, and nurture new business opportunities, focusing on enterprise clients in the HR software sector. Drive qualified meetings to the field sales team, contributing directly to revenue growth. **Expectations** - Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly quota for qualified meetings. - Develop and execute a territory plan. - Maintain accurate records in Salesforce.com. - Demonstrate high-energy, consultative selling, especially to C‑suite prospects. **Key Responsibilities** - Prospect and contact inbound leads, and generate outbound leads via cold calling and targeted campaigns. - Qualify leads, schedule meetings, and hand off opportunities to field sales. - Update and cleanse Salesforce data; manage opportunity pipeline. - Collaborate with marketing and sales ops, supporting event outreach and other lead-generation initiatives. - Provide insights on messaging, differentiation, and competitive landscape. - Participate in regional sales meetings and conferences. **Required Skills** - Proven success in inside sales with at least 2 years experience. - Strong cold‑calling, prospecting, and C‑suite engagement skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication; confident public speaker. - Assertive, creative, and intellectually curious. - Collaborative team player with fast learning ability. - Strong time‑management and organization. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (field of study not specified). - No specific certifications required, though knowledge of HR software/services is preferred.
