Job Description
Job title: Manager, Salesforce Administration Role Summary: Lead and evolve the organization’s Salesforce ecosystem, combining advanced administration with managerial responsibilities. Own platform strategy, architecture, and security; drive automation and integration; mentor and manage a team of developers; collaborate with GTM leaders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. Expactations: Minimum 5 years Salesforce Administration with proven leadership of development teams. Must hold a Salesforce Administrator certification; Advanced Administrator, Revenue Cloud Consultant, and Service Cloud Consultant preferred. Demonstrated expertise in declarative tools (Flows, Lightning), Apex/SOQL, and deployment tools. Proven ability to design and implement complex security models, automation, data governance, and API‑based integrations. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and coaching skills. Key Responsibilities: - Own Salesforce configuration, architecture, and platform strategy. - Design and implement advanced automation (Flows, Lightning) and scalable revenue and service cloud solutions (CPQ, Billing, Service Cloud). - Manage complex security models: roles, profiles, permission sets. - Lead, mentor, and groom Salesforce developers; oversee development lifecycle, code reviews, and deployment processes. - Develop and execute integration strategy with ERP, marketing automation, and data enrichment tools using APIs and middleware. - Maintain data integrity through audits, deduplication, validation rules; partner with RevOps for forecasting and reporting. - Serve as trusted advisor to GTM leadership; translate business requirements into technical designs. - Drive cross‑functional projects to enhance user experience and system efficiency. - Produce and maintain system documentation, process flows, and enablement materials; conduct training for end‑users and power users. Required Skills: - Salesforce platform administration and architecture. - Declarative automation (Flows, Process Builder, Lightning Components). - Apex, SOQL, and deployment tools (Salesforce DX, ANT). - Revenue Cloud (CPQ, Billing) and Service Cloud implementations. - API integration (REST/SOAP), middleware (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, etc.). - Data governance, security, and compliance. - Leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Salesforce Administrator certification (required). - Advanced Administrator, Revenue Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant (preferred).
