**Job Title:** New Business Telecoms BDM – London & South East **Role Summary:** Senior sales professional responsible for acquiring new logos and closing end‑to‑end Telecoms and UCaaS solutions (Hosted Telephony, VoIP, UCaaS, Connectivity, Mobile, Collaboration) for SME and Mid‑Market customers across London and the South East. **Expectations:** - Deliver full consultative sales cycle (5–500 seat solutions) with 3–9 month cycle times. - Meet or exceed quarterly and annual new‑business targets, driving OTE to £75‑90k (Year 1) and £100k+ (Year 2). - Self‑generate pipeline, leverage existing client base, and maintain robust prospecting activity. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across London and the South East. 2. Conduct consultative discovery and technical solution presentations to technical and senior decision‑makers. 3. Manage multi‑stakeholder, multi‑stage sales cycles through negotiation, proposal delivery, and contract close. 4. Build and sustain a comprehensive sales pipeline, reporting progress and forecast accurately. 5. Collaborate with internal marketing, pre‑sales, and technical teams to secure deals and ensure seamless hand‑off. 6. Follow up on customer requirements, prepare detailed proposals, and negotiate terms to maximize margin. **Required Skills:** - Proven track record in selling Hosted Telephony/UCaaS to SME/Mid‑Market clients. - Demonstrated ability to exceed new‑business quotas and close high‑value deals. - Strong communication and presentation skills with credibility to technical and senior audiences. - Experience managing complex, long sales cycles with multiple stakeholders. - Natural closing instinct, proactive prospecting ability, and winner’s mentality. - Ability to travel regionally and work independently across multiple regions. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred). - Relevant sales or telecom industry certifications (e.g., ITIL, CCNA, CCNP, Telecoms Sales Professional) are an advantage. ---
