Job Description
Job title: Regional Sales Manager – Hot Tapping & Isolation Role Summary: Lead sales and marketing activities for hot tapping and isolation solutions within a defined territory, driving revenue, margin, and market share while ensuring smooth order-to-cash transitions and team development. Expectations: Deliver annual sales targets; build a robust sales pipeline; maintain competitive intelligence; manage risk and exposure; travel region‑wide; mentor and grow a high‑performance sales team. Key Responsibilities - Design and execute sales & marketing programs to establish market leadership. - Capture and close business opportunities, negotiate commercial terms, and secure orders to build backlog. - Collaborate on Go‑to‑Market strategy for regional portfolio growth. - Oversee proposal-to-order and order-to-cash handover, ensuring clean backlog phasing. - Represent the company at industry events, showcasing solutions. - Produce compliant and compelling proposals to secure deals. - Participate in contract reviews with Legal, mitigating risk. - Recruit, evaluate, motivate, and develop sales staff; set objectives and provide performance feedback. - Supply sales & operational forecasting data to align manufacturing and service resources. - Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the team. - Prepare and deliver timely reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management. Required Skills - Minimum 10 years of sales/business development experience; 5–10 years in Pipeline/Oil & Gas sector. - Strong commercial acumen: consulting sales, solution positioning, negotiation at executive level. - Proven people‑management and development capabilities. - Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills. - Strategic thinking, business problem solving, and sound judgment. - Deep knowledge of market, competition, and product differentiators. - Ability to build cross‑functional relationships. - Willingness to travel across the region. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred). - Industry‑specific certifications (e.g., Pipeline Safety, Hot Tapping) are a plus.
