Job Description
**Job Title:** IT Service Delivery Manager **Role Summary:** Leads and evolves the IT Service Desk function, ensuring delivery of high‑quality, compliant IT services across a multi‑brand, multi‑site environment. Drives ITIL‑based service management, continuous improvement, and stakeholder satisfaction while managing internal teams, external suppliers, and service budgets. **Expectations:** - Provide strategic leadership and coaching to the Service Desk team. - Implement and mature IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices. - Maintain service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure regulatory compliance. - Act as primary escalation point and translate technical issues for business stakeholders. - Manage supplier performance, contracts, and cost optimisation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead, develop, and retain Service Desk staff; oversee recruitment and succession planning. - Own the ITSM platform, drive adoption of new features, and monitor performance metrics. - Conduct continuous service improvement (CSI) initiatives based on feedback and data analysis. - Coordinate transition of new services into business‑as‑usual with project and infrastructure teams. - Collaborate with IT Infrastructure, Security, and other IT functions to enhance knowledge sharing. - Ensure security standards, governance, risk, and compliance are applied within the service function. - Manage asset lifecycle, including monitoring, replacement, and cost‑effective procurement. - Report to Head of IT Operations on budget, performance, and improvement plans. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience leading IT Service Desk/Delivery teams using ITIL frameworks. - Strong knowledge of ITSM tools and platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA Service Management). - Broad technical expertise: WAN/LAN/WLAN, Azure Cloud, Active Directory/AAD, servers, virtualization, endpoint management. - Experience with POS, retail, and hospitality technology (preferred). - Understanding of cybersecurity principles, control frameworks, and regulatory compliance (preferred). - Supplier and contract management, including MSP performance monitoring. - Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management abilities. - Analytical mindset for monitoring metrics, trends, and driving improvements. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). - ITIL Foundation certification (higher ITIL levels preferred). - Additional certifications such as Azure Fundamentals, ISO 27001, or PMP are advantageous.
