Job Description
Job title: End User Computing Support Analyst – 12-Month Student Placement Role Summary: Provide frontline technical support for corporate end‑user hardware, software, and cloud services, ensuring seamless operation of Microsoft 365, Azure, Teams Rooms, and mobile devices within a fast‑paced IT infrastructure team. Expections: - Complete a 12‑month placement between Year 2 and final year of a bachelor’s degree. - Work 37.5 hours/week, 5 days on‑site, with occasional out‑of‑hours and site visits. - Deliver high‑quality, customer‑focused service while learning industry‑standard technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Resolve user issues related to hardware, Windows 10/11, and Microsoft 365. - Manage IT asset inventory and peripheral stock. - Troubleshoot Teams Rooms, AV equipment, and mobile device management (Apple, Samsung Knox). - Process joiner, mover, leaver accounts and device assignments. - Package, ship, and deploy IT equipment to internal sites. - Collaborate with End‑User Computing Engineer and Infrastructure Operations Manager. Required Skills: - Strong technical aptitude in desktop/laptop hardware and Windows OS. - Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite and basic networking concepts. - Excellent written and verbal communication, detail‑oriented. - Proactive, customer‑centric approach to problem solving. Required Education & Certifications: - Current enrolment in a Bachelor’s degree program, eligible for a 12‑month industrial placement. - No mandatory certifications required; willingness to acquire relevant Microsoft or networking credentials is a plus.
