Job Description
Job Title: Systems Engineer Role Summary Design, deploy, and maintain IT and radio communication systems for commercial and public sector clients. Collaborate with technical, sales, and support teams to ensure system performance, security, and availability. Expactations - Deliver high‑quality, secure, and reliable solutions that meet client requirements. - Provide expert technical support and contribute to business growth through effective proposal development. - Continuously improve existing systems and integrate new technologies. Key Responsibilities - Deploy and configure servers, software, and radio communication equipment. - Analyze customer needs, draft proposals, estimate costs, and develop project plans for tenders. - Prepare and conduct technical demonstrations for sales teams. - Offer advanced technical support to clients and internal teams; resolve complex issues. - Optimize current systems and implement new technologies. - Document procedures and conduct technical training sessions. Required Skills - 4+ years of systems engineering experience, preferably in radio communications. - Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems. - Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V). - Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). - Knowledge of IT security practices and project management. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Required Education & Certifications - Diploma (DEC) or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - Professional engineering registration in Quebec (member of Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec) is an advantage. - Certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, or equivalent are preferred.
