Job title: Frontend & Mobile App Developers Internship
Role Summary: Unpaid internship focused on building core mobile, web, and backend infrastructure for a health‑tech startup. Interns will design, develop, test, and maintain Android and iOS applications, related microservices, APIs, user interfaces, and database components while collaborating across product, AI/ML, and QA teams.
Expactations: Commit to regular working hours, follow coding best practices, version control, and security guidelines. Participate actively in design reviews, code reviews, integration tests, and architectural discussions. Demonstrate adaptability, continuous learning, and cross‑functional teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop Android apps using Java/Kotlin and Android SDK; develop iOS apps using Swift/SwiftUI and iOS frameworks.
• Build backend services and RESTful APIs with Java/Spring‑Boot, Kotlin, or Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI).
• Design, prototype, and refine UI/UX with Figma or equivalent tools; conduct usability testing and user research.
• Implement database solutions (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, VectorDB); manage migrations and data integrity.
• Containerize applications with Docker, orchestrate with Kubernetes, and deploy to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Write unit, integration, and automated tests; maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in system performance optimization, security hardening, and reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and AI/ML teams to deliver scalable features.
Required Skills:
• Android development (Java/Kotlin, Android SDK, multiversion support).
• iOS development (Swift/SwiftUI, UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation).
• Frontend: React Native preferred.
• Backend: Java/Spring‑Boot, Kotlin, Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI), RESTful APIs, microservices.
• Databases: SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, VectorDB).
• UI/UX: Figma, wireframing, prototyping, user research.
• Git workflow (GitHub/GitLab).
• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
Required Education & Certifications:
• Currently enrolled or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; design and HCI majors acceptable for UI/UX role.
• No mandatory certifications; portfolio or project experience in mobile/web development, backend services, or UX design is preferred.
