We have processing facilities in Westfield, Wisconsin (headquarters); Irving, Texas; Wells, Minnesota; Mocksville, North Carolina; and Hartwell, GA; along with our own Transportation fleet. Our Westfield and Irving facilities are state of the art operations and provide a complete line of further processed chicken with over 200 products for Foodservice, Industrial, and Chain accounts. We have multiple production lines with capacities ranging from 5,000 to over 10,000 pounds per hour. We offer the products, programs, promotions and culinary support to help you grow your business. Job Description
**Job Title** Cyber Security Engineer I **Role Summary** Execute configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of endpoint and SIEM platforms to safeguard organizational assets. Serve as an SME in threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management, applying research skills to develop and refine security controls. **Expectations** - Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and defensive techniques. - Operate and troubleshoot SIEM, EDR, and Vulnerability Management tools for optimal performance. - Provide timely incident response, conduct forensic analysis of malicious artifacts, and document remedial actions. - Produce, update, and disseminate SOPs, playbooks, and technical documentation. **Key Responsibilities** - Configure, monitor, and tune SIEM/log architecture (including Splunk, Elastic, etc.). - Investigate and resolve performance issues; patch and upgrade SIEM components. - Conduct threat hunting, analyze network and endpoint traffic for indicators of compromise. - Collaborate with IT teams to enforce secure configurations and best practices. - Review penetration test findings, coordinate remediation with vendors and stakeholders. - Respond to security incidents, performing rapid root‑cause analysis and recommending mitigations. - Author and maintain standard operating procedures, playbooks, and work instructions. **Required Skills** - Strong analytical skills for threat and malware analysis. - Proficiency in at least one SIEM (Splunk, Elastic, QRadar, etc.). - Scripting/automation in Python, Perl, or PowerShell. - Familiarity with Windows and Linux systems. - Knowledge of ATT&CK, kill‑chain framework, and modern penetration testing methods. - Ability to write and interpret Elastic DSL and/or Splunk SPL queries. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field **or** - Associate’s degree with 4 years of Information Security experience. - Security+ or GSEC certification required (or obtainable within 12 months). ---
