Job Description: **Job title:** Network Engineer **Role Summary:** Ensuring the continuous operation and security of an organization’s IT network infrastructure, maintaining firewalls, resolving incidents, executing improvement requests, and managing cross‑functional network projects while adhering to cybersecurity policies. **Expactations:** - Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in a similar network engineering role. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple projects. - Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time within France or internationally. - Strong interest in network technologies and commitment to meeting results and deadlines. **Key Responsibilities:** - Operate and monitor daily network operations, ensuring uptime and performance. - Supervise and maintain firewalls (Fortigate, Palo Alto) and related security appliances. - Diagnose and resolve network incidents and deliver improvements. - Apply the organization’s cybersecurity recommendations (RSSI) to network design and operations. - Lead, coordinate, and animate cross‑functional network projects, delivering status reports and final outcomes. **Required Skills:** - Network monitoring (Nagios, Zabbix, or equivalents). - Firewall administration (Fortigate, Palo Alto). - Integration with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, O365). - Cloud connectivity (Azure). - VLAN, segmentation, MPLS, VPN configuration and troubleshooting. - Virtualized network environments and core switch management. - Project management skills with demonstrated ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously. - Strong written and verbal communication; fluency in French and English preferred. **Required Education & Certifications:** - University degree (Bac +5) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent. - Industry certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer, or Azure Network Engineer Associate are highly desirable.
