**Job Title:**
Vice President, DevOps Team Lead
**Role Summary:**
Lead a cross‑disciplinary DevOps, Release Engineering, and DBA team to modernize and scale DevOps processes, ensuring alignment with cloud‑first architecture and business objectives. Provide technical mentorship, strategic direction, and hands‑on involvement in development and deployment pipelines; drive continuous improvement and project delivery.

- Manage multiple concurrent projects, deliver results on schedule.
- Foster a high‑performance, collaborative culture.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across technology and business units.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Guide and mentor a team of DevOps Engineers, Release Engineers, and DBAs.
2. Oversee modernization of DevOps processes; implement best practices for cloud/Azure architecture.
3. Manage project deliverables, deadlines, and interdependencies; report status to stakeholders.
4. Develop and execute continuous improvement strategies for DevOps practices.
5. Coordinate with Server Engineering, Application Development, QA, Network, Desktop, Support, and Program Management teams.
6. Lead project management activities: planning, execution, monitoring, risk mitigation.
7. Deliver hands‑on support on critical development, deployment, and production issues.
8. Maintain governance models for cloud infrastructure and change management.
**Required Skills:**
- Proven leadership of cross‑disciplinary DevOps and engineering teams.
- Advanced Azure DevOps (Git, Boards, Pipelines) and CI/CD tooling (Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, Jenkins, Ansible).
- Strong experience with cloud migrations to Microsoft Azure; AWS/GCP knowledge a plus.
- System administration: IIS, SQL Server, Windows/Linux servers, networking, VPNs.
- Scripting: PowerShell; basic SQL query language.
- Change management, production support, automated testing, and job scheduling.
- Security fundamentals: OAuth2.0, Managed Identities, Service Principals.
- Knowledge of AI/LLM tools (ChatGPT, Bard, Microsoft Copilot), and data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, PowerBI, Azure SQL).
- Excellent project management, communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder‑management skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in system engineering, DevOps, and team leadership.
- Professional certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
