Job title: Investment Banking Intern Role Summary: Off‑cycle/summer internship providing exposure to high‑profile (re)insurance, insurtech and insurance services transactions. Interns support senior bankers on M&A, capital markets, fairness opinions and strategic advisory, gaining experience in all transaction stages. Expectations: Deliver accurate, polished client materials; maintain high analytical standards; communicate clearly in written and verbal formats; demonstrate strong work ethic, adaptability, and problem‑solving under tight deadlines; keep current with industry trends and regulatory frameworks. Key Responsibilities: • Support analysts and associates from pitch to closing. • Prepare client presentations, marketing documents (Investor P/ISOs, CIMs, PPIs). • Build and analyze financial models; develop valuations. • Conduct research and analysis for client deliverables. • Participate in all transaction phases, contributing to strategy, valuation, and financing recommendations. • Keep abreast of sector developments and applicable regulatory environments. Required Skills: • Exceptional quantitative and qualitative analysis; meticulous attention to detail. • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency; financial modeling competency. • Excellent written and verbal communication. • Strong organization, problem‑solving, and time‑management under pressure. • High motivation and willingness to exceed expectations. Required Education & Certifications: • Final‑year bachelor’s holder or current master’s candidate in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field, or current intern in banking, finance or consulting. • Outstanding academic record. • Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
