Job Description
**Job Title** Financial Analyst Internship **Role Summary** Support the finance team in all aspects of the monthly closing cycle, accounts payable processing, inventory reconciliation, and financial analysis. Gain hands‑on experience with SAP and other financial systems while contributing to variance analysis, forecasting, and business decision support in a manufacturing environment. **Expectations** - Final‑semester student in Accounting or Finance (or recent graduate). - Ability to work full‑time on‑site and meet deadlines. - Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and capability to handle complex, ambiguous tasks. **Key Responsibilities** - Prepare and review journal entries for month‑end closing. - Verify balance sheet and income statement accounts for accuracy. - Assist with the procure‑to‑pay workflow and resolve AP issues. - Participate in physical inventory counts and related reconciliations. - Conduct variance analysis and develop financial models/projections to aid business decisions. - Learn and apply manufacturing financial drivers. **Required Skills** - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent organization, prioritization, and time‑management. - Self‑initiative, independence, and urgency in task completion. - Ability to propose solutions and adapt quickly to changing situations. - Proficiency in English, both written and verbal. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (current final semester or completed). - Minimum course requirements: 6 hrs general accounting, 3 hrs cost/management accounting, 3 hrs finance. - No additional certifications required.
