Job Title: DevOps Manager
Role Summary: Lead a team of DevOps engineers to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud solutions for a large financial services platform, aligning with CI/CD, IaC, and observability best practices.
Expectations: Drive the execution of the DevOps strategy roadmap, ensuring high-quality, automated delivery of applications and infrastructure while embedding security, compliance, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the definition and implementation of CI/CD pipelines, IaC (Terraform), and automation frameworks.
- Manage and mentor a DevOps engineering team, overseeing performance, skill development, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Champion observability across environments through monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting.
- Integrate DevSecOps principles, enforcing security controls and compliance checks within all delivery workflows.
- Partner with engineering squads to standardize processes, reduce manual effort, and accelerate release cycles.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging DevOps tools, cloud services, and industry practices.
Required Skills:
- Proven leadership and team‑management experience in a DevOps context.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong command of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Argo CD).
- Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting (Python, Bash).
- Advanced knowledge of monitoring/observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
- Solid understanding of DevSecOps, security controls, and regulatory compliance in finance.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Kubernetes Administrator) strongly preferred.
