Job Description
**Job Title** Seasonal Customer Security Administrator **Role Summary** Assists in fraud prevention for physical and e‑gift orders, a critical role during peak retail periods. Works closely with Consumer Operations to detect, investigate, and remediate fraudulent activity, provides accurate reporting, and supports customer and retailer service. **Expectations** • Attention to detail and  quick decision‑making. • Positive, can‑do attitude during high‑volume periods. • Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate findings. **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct security checks on physical and e‑gift orders to minimize fraud exposure. - Cancel fraudulent gift cards/e‑gifts and halt dispatch of suspect orders. - Investigate, document, and authorize chargebacks arising from suspected fraud. - Identify and analyze fraud trends; recommend quarantine procedures. - Improve fraud detection systems via internal and external research. - Carry out daily sales/order activities, logging and reporting revenue. - Resolve internal and external queries, liaising with multiple departments. - Monitor stock levels, adjust sites and systems for low inventory. - Generate reports using bespoke and standard systems. - Support additional duties as directed by the line manager. **Required Skills** - Fraud prevention knowledge (training desirable). - Strong computer proficiency: Microsoft Office, bespoke order‑processing systems. - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Superior organization, time‑management, and analytical/reporting skills. - Detail orientation, innovative thinking, and resilience under pressure. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum GCSE in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or equivalent). - Project management training is desirable. - Relevant administration or customer‑service experience.
