Job Title: Engineering Planning Engineer (Parts Planning) Role Summary: Lead the planning of spare parts inventory for a global industrial group producing mining equipment. Optimize stock levels, forecast demand, and ensure availability of consumables and critical components across multiple subsidiaries in Oceania, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. Expectations: Deliver accurate demand forecasts, maintain optimal safety stock, reduce variances between planned and actual consumption, and provide strategic insights to senior management. Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross‑functional teams worldwide. Key Responsibilities - Plan and monitor spare parts requirements for the central warehouse and all subsidiaries. - Track variances, manage safety stock, and propose corrective actions to minimize discrepancies. - Support subsidiaries by reviewing and validating their demand plans, sharing best practices, and providing local training. - Develop and maintain dashboards for management reporting. - Oversee the development and testing of data analysis tools. - Analyze internal and external factors influencing spare parts demand. - Act as the group planning reference point in cross‑functional projects.
